Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Gurugram for a Sales Chemical Engineer. The role involves identifying and pursuing sales opportunities, building and maintaining customer relationships, and providing technical solutions tailored to client requirements. The role also includes collaborating with the R&D team to address customer-specific needs, preparing sales reports, delivering product presentations, and ensuring timely resolution of customer queries while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong technical knowledge of chemical products, including their applications and properties, particularly in pharmaceuticals, paints, rubber, and other relevant industries
- Proven experience in sales, client relationship management, and business development
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical details to non-technical stakeholders
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including R&D and production
- Proficiency in preparing sales proposals, market analysis, and utilizing sales management tools
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus
- Previous experience in industrial chemical sales is highly beneficial
