Ltd., India's pioneering AI-driven food regulatory technology company, is seeking an experienced Senior Food Product Compliance Expert to help build next-generation software solutions that enable food companies to achieve regulatory compliance at the product formulation stage.

This is a unique opportunity to combine deep regulatory expertise with technology innovation and contribute to the development of intelligent compliance systems used by food manufacturers across global markets.

Key Responsibilities :

• Evaluate ingredient, additive, processing aid, flavouring, and food category compliance across multiple jurisdictions - India and International markets
• Interpret and apply food regulations to support software rule development and regulatory intelligence systems.
• Build and validate compliance logic for formulation-stage assessments.
• Develop food category frameworks, ingredient repositories, additive permissions, and regulatory decision trees.
• Support multi-country compliance requirements for packaged foods, beverages, nutraceuticals, and specialty food products.
• Work closely with technology, AI, product, and regulatory teams to translate regulations into scalable software solutions.
• Monitor and interpret regulatory updates and assess business impact.
• Contribute to the development of automated compliance workflows and regulatory knowledge databases.

Required Regulatory Knowledge :

Strong working knowledge of food ingredient and additive regulations across one or more of the following markets:

• India (FSSAI)
• United States (FDA), Canada (Health Canada / CFIA)
• United Kingdom, European Union
• GCC / Gulf Countries
• Singapore
• Australia & New Zealand (FSANZ)

Desired Expertise :

• Food category classification and regulatory interpretation.
• Ingredient permissibility assessments.
• Food additive and flavour compliance.
• Standards of Identity, categorisation, and compositional requirements.
• Nutritional and functional ingredient regulations.
• Product formulation compliance reviews.
• Multi-country regulatory comparisons and gap assessments.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Nutrition, Regulatory Affairs, Biotechnology, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 6–10 years of relevant experience in food regulatory affairs, product compliance, R&D regulatory support, ingredient compliance, or global food regulations.
• Proven experience handling compliance requirements across multiple food categories.
• Experience working with food manufacturers, ingredient companies, regulatory consultancies, certification bodies, or compliance organizations will be preferred.
