These courses are part of the Bachelor of Applied Science in Sustainable Agriculture. Successful candidates will be responsible for covering the relevant topics in the context of sustainable agriculture and food systems and should include expertise in sustainable production systems and agroecology. The successful candidates will work with the Department faculty in the development and delivery of these courses and support with content will be provided.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThe Sustainable Agriculture degree program at KPU provides students with a unique learning experience designed in recognition of the need for both practical and academic training that addresses the pressing issues in our food system such as climate change and social justice in addition to the production of food. Students are immersed in a setting which fosters experiential learning through classroom, lab and field-based research and teaching.
