Service Engineer (On grid & Hybrid Inverter )

Job Title: Service Engineer – Solar Inverters (Off-Grid & Hybrid)

Job Summary

The Service Engineer will be responsible for installation support, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of on-grid and hybrid solar inverter systems. The role requires hands-on technical expertise, field service capability, and customer interaction skills to ensure optimal system performance and uptime.

Key Responsibilities

1. Installation & Commissioning

• Support installation and commissioning of on-grid and hybrid solar inverter systems
• Ensure proper system configuration, grid synchronization, and battery integration (for hybrid systems)
• Perform site inspections and readiness checks before commissioning

2. Troubleshooting & Maintenance

• Diagnose and resolve inverter faults, communication issues, and system failures
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
• Handle issues related to MPPT, grid faults, battery systems, and monitoring platforms

3. Customer Support

• Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers and installers
• Train customers/end-users on system operation and basic maintenance
• Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure timely issue resolution

4. Monitoring & Reporting

• Monitor system performance via remote portals/software
• Prepare service reports, fault logs, and maintenance records
• Escalate complex technical issues to OEM/technical team when required

5. Compliance & Safety

• Follow electrical safety standards and company protocols
• Ensure installations comply with local regulations and grid requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or related field
• 1–5 years of experience in solar inverter servicing or related field
• Strong knowledge of:
• Solar PV systems and components
• On-grid and hybrid inverter operation
• Batteries (Lithium-ion, Lead-acid)
• Basic electrical troubleshooting
• Familiarity with communication protocols (RS485, Modbus, WiFi monitoring)
• Ability to read electrical schematics and system diagrams
• Willingness to travel for site visits

Salary Details:22000-25000

Location: Pune Katraj (Maharashtra)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
