Job Description

As an analyst for the Client Services Operations team at Kroll, your role will involve performing data extraction, data analysis on financial models and financial valuation reports, report updates, and providing various support services. You will be responsible for conducting research, collecting financial and business data, analyzing financial information to support well-informed commercial decisions, and monitoring financial movements.

  • Bachelors degree (preferably in BAF, BFM, B. Com, BMS, BBI, BBA, etc.) or a Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, or Management; progress towards CFA certification is highly desirable.
  • 02 years of related experience as a research analyst.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong skills in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical, comprehension, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good understanding of financial statements and accounting concepts.
  • Experience in financial reporting, financial modeling, and preparing trial balances and various accounting schedules.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and analyzing trial balances and various accounting schedules.
  • Updating/inputting data into financial models/templates as per guidelines set by business units/clients.
  • Conducting a broad analysis of income statement, balance sheet, cash flows, ratios, and segment performance.
  • Maintaining quality standards and ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  • Meeting timeliness expectations and raising queries promptly with team leads for quick resolution.
  • Contributing process-related ideas to reduce time or provide cost benefits.
  • Participating in training sessions and walkthroughs with the larger team.
  • Ensuring adherence to Kroll policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Assisting in process documentation and creation of SOPs and checklists.
