Automotive Design Engineers - BIW / Lighting / Plastic Trim

As an Automotive Design Engineer at a reputed German automotive client, you will have the opportunity to work on global automotive projects from concept to production in a Tier-1 supplier environment. The role involves working on BIW, Automotive Lighting, and Plastic Trim Design. You will be responsible for 3D CAD modeling, 2D drawing creation using CATIA V5/V6, concept design, packaging, feasibility analysis, DMU checks, clash analysis, assembly validation, and working on BIW, Sheet Metal, Plastic, and Lighting components. Additionally, you will coordinate with OEMs, suppliers, and internal teams, support prototype builds, and production activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• 3D CAD modeling & 2D drawing creation using CATIA V5/V6
• Concept design, packaging & feasibility analysis
• DMU checks, clash analysis & assembly validation
• Work on BIW / Sheet Metal / Plastic / Lighting components
• Coordinate with OEMs, suppliers & internal teams
• Support prototype builds & production activities

Qualifications Required:

• Experience: 112 Years in Automotive Design roles
• Strong skills in CATIA V5/V6 (mandatory), knowledge of Siemens NX (preferred)
• Experience in BIW / Lighting / Plastic Design
• Understanding of GD&T, DFM, DFA, packaging
• Exposure to OEM / Tier-1 supplier environment preferred
