Job title: Manager Career Services

Department: Career Services & Alumni Relations

Work Location: Chennai & Sricitry

Experience: 7 – 10 years

Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in business administration.

Reporting to: Director

Position: Full-time

Salary: As per Institution standard

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Key Responsibilities :

  • Drive and implement strategy to meet or exceed the goals of the career service office including placement rate and average CTC targets as established by senior management.
  • Support the implementation of Career Services strategy to achieve placement and internship targets.
  • Coordinate end-to-end campus recruitment processes including internships and final placements.
  • Assist students with career guidance, resume building, interview preparation, and job search strategies
  • Organize and manage career fairs, workshops, seminars, and employer engagement activities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with corporates, recruiters, and external partners.
  • Coordinate with Deans, faculty, and alumni to identify placement opportunities.
  • Track and monitor placement progress, ensuring targets and timelines are met.
  • Collect employer feedback and support improvements in career services programs.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining employer and alumni databases.
  • Support partnership development for internships, placements, and higher education opportunities.
  • Ensure smooth execution of all Career Services activities and adherence to internal processes.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and MIS related to placements and student outcomes.
  • Participate in review meetings and provide regular updates on placement status.
  • Support outreach and branding initiatives to enhance employer engagement.
  • Managers are responsible for maintaining and growing the accounts of corporations acquired in previous years.
  • They work directly with their respective ADs to execute the school-specific placement strategy.
  • Managers organize “Pre-Placement Talks” and oversee the transition from a lead to an active job posting.
  • Will be required to travel extensively as required.
