It offers strategic consulting, digital architecture, and sector-specific solutions across areas like transport, water, justice, and finance. The team enables large-scale e-Governance, data analytics, and automation to improve efficiency and citizen experience.About the Role:This role involves leveraging data to support revenue-related decision-making within the Government and Public Sector. The Data Analyst will work with large datasets to uncover insights, trends, and patterns that inform policy and operational strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in analytics, experience in public sector projects, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:- Analyze revenue data to identify trends, patterns, and insights for public sector initiatives- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making- Develop dashboards and reports for stakeholders and government bodies- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with relevant regulations- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and government officialsRequired Qualifications:- Bachelors Degree in one of the following fields: Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or Economics- Masters Degree in one of the following fields: Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or Computer ScienceExperience:- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Revenue Analytics /Data analytics- Mandatory experience in Government & Public Sector projects- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and statistical software (e.g., R, Python, SAS)Preferred Skills:- Experience working with large datasets and government databases- Knowledge of public finance and budgeting processes- Familiarity with data governance and security protocols in the public sectorKPMG India has a policy of providing equal opportunity for all applicants and employees regardless of their color, caste, religion, age, sex/gender, national origin, citizenship, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, or other legally protected status.
