Service Engineer - Aerospace and railways

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Engineer specializing in the aerospace and railway industries. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of advanced aerospace and railway systems, contributing directly to the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our clients' operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform onsite and remote diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of aerospace and railway equipment following industry standards and manufacturer specifications.

Collaborate closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.

Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend the life cycle of critical systems.

Document all service activities, including maintenance records, fault analysis, and parts replacements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Advise customers on best practices for equipment operation and maintenance, contributing to optimal system performance and safety.

Participate in training programs to stay current with technological advancements and regulatory updates in aerospace and railway sectors.

Maintain a clear and effective communication channel with clients and internal teams, providing timely updates on service progress and technical recommendations.

Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience as a Service Engineer within aerospace, railway, or related transportation sectors.

Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems in aerospace and railway applications.

Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical diagrams and schematics.

Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams under varying conditions, including field environments.

Familiarity with industry safety standards, quality assurance processes, and regulatory compliance requirements.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and documentation accuracy.

Effective communication skills to engage constructively with clients and coworkers at all levels.
