Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Food and Beverage Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest services, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming environment for all patrons. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently, and a passion for hospitality. Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS. Responsibilities

• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Provide excellent guest services by addressing customer needs, questions, and special requests
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
• Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support the team
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, and service stations in accordance with sanitation standards
• Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables during busy periods without compromising service quality
• Support team members in maintaining a positive and efficient work environment

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant operations preferred; hospitality or food industry background is a plus
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently
• Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
• Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are beneficial but not required
• Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary
