We change the way Marketers work by making them more efficient, while improving conversion rate of their campaigns and helping them stay on brand.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Oh, and we have a bit of fun while doing it, too!</span></p></div><h3><strong>The Role: Team Lead, Security &amp; Compliance</strong></h3> <p>As Team Lead, Security &amp; Compliance at Knak, you’ll lead the programs that keep our platform, customers, and company secure.</p> <p>This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll operate at the intersection of security, compliance, and business enablement. You’ll guide our approach to frameworks like SOC 2 and ISO 27001, build security awareness across the company, and partner with teams to ensure we grow in a way that’s both fast and secure.</p> <p>You’ll be a trusted expert and collaborator—helping teams understand not just what to do, but why it matters.</p> <h3><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></h3> <p><strong>Manage security and compliance programs</strong></p> <ul> <li>Maintain Knak’s security control framework and oversee continuous monitoring and remediation efforts</li> </ul> <p><strong>Drive security awareness and behavior change</strong></p> <ul> <li>Educate control owners, deliver training, and promote best practices across the organization</li> </ul> <p><strong>Collaborate with internal and external partners</strong></p> <ul> <li>Work closely with product, engineering, leadership, auditors, and vendors to support security workflows</li> </ul> <p><strong>Maintain and improve security documentation</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop and manage policies, standards, procedures, and internal handbooks</li> </ul> <p><strong>Support Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) activities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Monitor metrics, contribute to reporting, and provide visibility into security and compliance health</li> </ul> <h3><strong>What You Bring</strong></h3> <ul> <li>3–5 years of experience in security and compliance, including leadership or team lead responsibilities</li> <li>Strong understanding of security frameworks such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001</li> <li>Technical and business knowledge across areas like security training, application security, and compliance programs</li> <li>Proven ability to lead change and influence teams across an organization</li> <li>Strong communication, conflict management, and organizational skills</li> <li>Experience managing people and supporting team growth</li> <li>Ability to work cross-functionally and balance security requirements with business needs</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Bonus Points If You Have</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Security certifications such as CISA or CISM (or are working toward them)</li> <li>Experience in SaaS or high-growth startup environments</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>What We Offer</strong></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">At Knak we have four foundational pillars.
