Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Farm Manager to oversee daily farm operations, labour management, crop activities, and overall farm maintenance. The candidate should have good knowledge of agriculture operations, team coordination, irrigation systems, and farm development activities.
Roles & Responsibilities
Farm Operations Management
Handle complete day-to-day farm operations
Monitor crop health, plantation, harvesting, and maintenance activities
Ensure proper implementation of farm schedules and targets
Maintain cleanliness and discipline on the farm
Labour Management
Manage and supervise farm labour teams
Assign daily work activities to workers and supervisors
Monitor labour attendance, productivity, and performance
Ensure smooth coordination between field staff and management
Water & Irrigation Management
Monitor water availability and irrigation schedules
Ensure proper functioning of drip irrigation, pipelines, and pumps
Maintain water usage records and avoid wastage
Electricity & Utility Management
Supervise electrical systems, motors, pumps, and farm utilities
Coordinate DG set operation and maintenance if required
Ensure uninterrupted electricity supply for farm operations
Daily To-Do List Activities
Prepare and monitor daily activity plans
Conduct morning briefing with labour and supervisors
Track daily work progress and submit reports
Ensure completion of assigned tasks within timeline
Maintain records of farm activities, materials, and expenses
Farm Survey & Inspection
Conduct regular farm surveys and field inspections
Identify issues related to crop health, irrigation, pest control, and land condition
Prepare survey reports and suggest improvement actions
Coordinate with management for development planning
Inventory & Material Management
Monitor stock of fertilizers, pesticides, tools, and materials
Maintain inward and outward material records
Coordinate procurement requirements with management
