Job Description
1. Responsible for OEE (efficiency) & overall effectiveness of assigned lines (Light Section, Heavy Section, Manual Tension & CNC Tension).
2. Own end-to-end operations from Coiling to Dispatch, ensuring optimum utilization of Man, Machine & Material.
3. Execute shift-wise production plan and optimize manpower allocation to achieve schedule compliance.
4. Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as required to meet daily and monthly targets.
5. Ensure strict adherence to SOPs, Control Plans, Route Cards & defined process parameters at every production stage.
6. Ensure daily compliance to ISO 9001:2015 / IATF 16949 requirements under supervision.
7. Take overall responsibility for Product Quality and maintain PPM of Spring Division as per customer requirements.
8. Conduct SPC (Statistical Process Control) as per control plan and take action on trends & out-of-control conditions.
9. Monitor in-process quality with immediate containment, root cause analysis, CAPA implementation & proper evidences.
10. Handle abnormal situations (quality, machine, material, method, safety) with proper escalation and line stop authority when required.
11. Ensure effective 4M management (Man, Machine, Material, Method) and control all changes through proper approval process.
12. Record, monitor and control machine downtime & rejections with corrective and preventive actions including objective evidences.
13. Coordinate with Maintenance for breakdown control, tool life monitoring and preventive maintenance effectiveness.
14. Control WIP, FIFO & ensure smooth material flow from Coiling to Dispatch through ERP system
15. Enforce safety practices, PPE compliance and plant housekeeping.
16. Implement & sustain 5S and standardization, including during new component development.
17. Drive continuous improvement, Kaizen & Poka-Yoke initiatives across the line and support organization-wide improvements
18. Observe operators for process adherence, discipline & safe working practices.
19. Supervise & motivate team members; review worker performance and identify training needs & skill upgradation.
20. Maintain shift reports, traceability records, downtime data, rejection reports & action plan records.
21. Coordinate with PPC, Quality, Maintenance & Stores for resolving shift-level operational issues.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
