Department: Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC)

Position: Quality Executive

Shift: 12 Hours (Day/Night Shift as per Company Requirement)

Experience: 1–5 Years (Corrugated Box Industry Preferred)

Qualification: B.Sc. / Diploma / Graduate (Quality or Packaging Background Preferred)

Key Responsibilities1. Incoming Quality Control (IQC)

• Inspect incoming Kraft Paper, Starch, Gum, Ink, Adhesives and other raw materials.
• Verify GSM, BF, Moisture, Shade and supplier specifications.
• Maintain IQC inspection records.

2. In-Process Quality Control (IPQC)

• Monitor quality at every production stage:
• Corrugation
• Pasting
• Slotting
• Printing
• Die Cutting
• Stitching / Gluing
• Bundling
• Ensure process parameters are maintained.

3. Final Quality Control (OQC)

• Inspect finished boxes before dispatch.
• Check:
• Dimensions
• GSM
• Bursting Strength (BS)
• Box Compression (if required)
• Printing Quality
• Colour Matching
• Creasing
• Cutting Accuracy
• Bonding Quality
• Stitching/Gluing
• Bundle Quantity

4. Testing & Inspection

• Conduct quality tests as per customer specifications.
• Maintain calibration records of testing equipment.
• Ensure all reports are updated.

5. Documentation

• Maintain IQC, IPQC & OQC reports.
• Prepare NCR (Non-Conformance Report) if required.
• Maintain customer complaint records.
• Prepare Daily Quality Report.

6. Customer Complaint Handling

• Investigate customer complaints.
• Perform root cause analysis.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Coordinate with Production for quality improvements.

7. Quality Improvement

• Reduce rejection and rework.
• Monitor process deviations.
• Conduct quality awareness sessions for operators.

8. Compliance

• Follow SOPs and Quality Standards.
• Ensure 5S implementation.
• Follow safety procedures in the quality department.

Required Skills

• Experience in Corrugated Box Manufacturing.
• Knowledge of IQC, IPQC & OQC.
• Understanding of GSM, BF, ECT, Moisture, Cobb Test and BCT.
• Ability to read customer specifications and drawings.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Working Hours

• Shift: 12 Hours
• Weekly Off: As per company policy.
• Shift Rotation: Day/Night as required.

Salary

₹17,000 – ₹25,000 per month (Based on experience and skill)

Preferred Candidate

✔ 1–5 years of experience in Corrugated Box Industry

✔ Good knowledge of testing instruments and quality standards

✔ Strong communication and reporting skills

✔ Leadership ability to guide production teams on quality
