Accounting Manager in IT Software (Fully Remote)

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our dynamic IT software company. The ideal candidate will oversee all accounting functions, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support strategic financial planning. Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing
• Conduct detailed account analysis and account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data
• Perform bank reconciliations regularly to verify cash flow and detect discrepancies
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards
• Utilize accounting software such as Sage, Xero, and other industry-standard tools to streamline financial processes
• Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities with precise bookkeeping practices
• Assist in financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting activities to support strategic decision-making
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial services regulations relevant to the IT software industry

Experience

• Proven experience in corporate finance, accounting management, or a similar role within the technology or software sector
• Strong proficiency with accounting software such as Netsuites or comparable platforms
• Demonstrated expertise in account analysis, account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and auditing procedures
• Experience managing accounts payable and receivable processes along with payroll administration
• Knowledge of budgeting processes and financial reporting standards
• Familiarity with bookkeeping best practices and financial compliance requirements
• Prior experience working with financial services related to technology companies is a plus

Pay: $85,000.00-$115,000.00 per year
