🚀 We are hiring a Video Editor (Climate & Sustainability) at KarbonWise. This role is ideal for freshers and early-stage editors looking to build in a fast-moving environment.

• Thinks beyond basic edits and approaches content with intent.
• Can translate abstract, technical, or business concepts into clear and engaging visual narratives.
• Has a strong sense of pacing, text placement, storytelling and audience retention.
• Pays close attention to detail, structure and overall content quality.
• Is comfortable working in a fast-moving, founder-led environment with quick feedback loops.
• Is open to learning, iterating and improving based on feedback and performance insights.

🎯 What you will work on:

• Edit short-form and long-form video content for platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube.
• Create engaging visual content around sustainability, climate trends, business insights and founder-led narratives.
• Translate abstract, technical, or business-heavy concepts into clear, structured and visually compelling stories.
• Optimize videos for pacing, retention, captions, text placement and audience engagement.
• Continuously refine content through iterative edits based on feedback, performance insights and content goals.
• Collaborate in a fast-moving, founder-led environment with quick turnaround expectations.

👉 Requirements:

• Prior hands-on experience through internships, freelance work, academic projects, or personal projects in short-form and/or long-form video editing.
• Working knowledge of tools like Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, CapCut or similar editing software.
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, text placement, transitions and audience engagement.
• High attention to detail with the ability to refine, iterate and improve content based on feedback.
• A portfolio that demonstrates quality of work, creativity and clarity over quantity.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, feedback-driven environment.
