Front End Software Engineer Intern

Role Description: The Front End Software Engineer Intern role at Kapitalwise Inc. is a remote internship focused on building and improving user-facing features for the company’s AI-enabled platform and widgets. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing responsive interfaces, collaborating with designers and back-end engineers, integrating APIs, and ensuring cross-browser compatibility and performance. The intern will participate in code reviews, write clean and maintainable code, and assist in testing and debugging front-end components. The role also involves documenting features, contributing to UI/UX improvements, and learning best practices in modern front-end development within a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Strong foundational knowledge in Computer Science and Software Development, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
• Programming skills with experience in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and at least one modern language commonly used in web applications (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript).
• Understanding of Back-End Web Development concepts, APIs, and how front-end systems integrate with server-side services.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks or libraries (e.g., React, Vue, or similar).
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and collaborate with a distributed team.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
• Experience or interest in fintech, AI-driven platforms, or marketing technology is a plus.
