Brand Lead (14 month contract)
Marketing Content Strategy & Calendar Ownership
- Develop and manage a unified annual and seasonal content strategy across campaigns, product moments, executive visibility, and social storytelling.
- Ensure all content is audience‑first, insight‑driven, and aligned with overall business priorities.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external creative, digital, and social teams to ensure strong execution and channel‑appropriate storytelling.
- Develop content toolkits, messaging frameworks, and guidelines to support cross‑functional teams.
Digital, Social & Influencer Partnerships
- Partner with agencies to amplify brand initiatives across paid, owned, and earned channels.
- Lead influencer and ambassador programs, including strategy development, contract management, content briefing, KPI setting, and performance analysis.
- Ensure influencer partnerships authentically represent the brand and adhere to content, brand, and compliance standards.
PR & External Communications
- Manage PR agencies, including strategy development, planning, briefing, and performance measurement.
- Coordinate press releases, media pitching, thought leadership initiatives, and executive visibility opportunities.
- Support issues management and crisis communications as required.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, industry partners, and external stakeholders.
Newsletter Communications
- Own the end‑to‑end newsletter strategy, including audience segmentation, content planning, and editorial calendar management.
- Drive subscriber growth and engagement through testing, optimization, and performance analysis.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and communications teams to ensure newsletter content supports broader business objectives.
- Track and report on key performance metrics (open rates, CTRs, conversions) to inform ongoing strategy and decision‑making.
Required Qualifications
- 5–8+ years of experience in brand management, communications, PR, or integrated marketing roles.
- Proven experience working with PR agencies in North America.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, content formats, and digital best practices.
