Job Description
A two-wheeler showroom service advisor acts as the primary liaison between customers and the workshop, responsible for greeting customers, creating service job cards, diagnosing issues, estimating repair costs, and ensuring timely delivery. They promote maintenance packages, manage service workflows, and handle customer complaints to ensure high satisfaction and loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Interaction: Welcoming customers, actively listening to concerns, and explaining required repairs/maintenance.
- Job Card Management: Creating detailed work orders (job cards), recording vehicle issues, and scheduling appointments.
- Estimation & Approval: Providing accurate repair estimates, outlining costs, and obtaining customer approval before commencing work.
- Technical Liaison: Coordinating with technicians to ensure quality service, diagnosing issues, and updating customers on progress.
- Sales & Promotion: Recommending value-added services, AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts), and genuine accessories to boost workshop revenue.
- Final Inspection & Delivery: Reviewing work performed, preparing final invoices, explaining repairs, and conducting test drives if necessary.
