Job Description
At Jungle Scout, we are on a mission to build the best Amazon competitive intelligence tools for Amazon sellers and brands.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Director of Marketing to lead Jungle Scout through its next phase of enterprise growth. This is a hands-on, player–coach leadership role responsible for building and scaling a focused enterprise marketing engine that drives qualified ICP pipeline and accelerates ARR growth.
This leader will oversee a lean team (6–8 across Growth, Marketing Operations, Product Marketing, and Design) with a mandate to increase impact through sharper positioning, disciplined execution, process optimization, and practical AI adoption.
This role requires demonstrated experience marketing complex data-driven or analytics products. The ideal candidate understands how to translate differentiated datasets, proprietary insights, or intelligence platforms into clear executive-level value propositions. Experience within ecommerce, retail technology, marketplace platforms, or Amazon-focused ecosystems is a strong asset.
You will work closely with the CEO, COO, CRO, and Product leadership to clearly articulate Jungle Scout’s differentiated data advantage for executive-level buyers. This role requires comfort operating at both a strategic and tactical level — shaping vision while driving measurable business outcomes.
This is an ideal opportunity for a marketing leader who thrives in high-accountability environments and understands how marketing directly influences pipeline quality, revenue efficiency, and long-term enterprise value creation.
What You’ll Do
Own Enterprise Marketing Strategy & ICP Pipeline Outcomes
- Define and execute the enterprise marketing strategy aligned to ARR and pipeline targets
- Own ICP definition, segmentation, and prioritization in partnership with Sales and RevOps
- Drive measurable growth in qualified ICP pipeline (not just lead volume)
- Establish Jungle Scout as the trusted authority in Amazon and ecommerce market intelligence by clearly articulating our differentiated data assets and proprietary insights to executive-level buyers.
- Partner closely with Product leadership on launches, competitive differentiation, and category narrative
- Collaborate with Sales and RevOps to improve conversion rates, pipeline velocity, and retention
Elevate Executive-Level Marketing Leadership
- Translate marketing strategy into clear revenue impact for executive leadership
- Communicate pipeline performance, positioning strategy, and growth impact to the executive team and Board
- Lead cross-functional alignment around ICP focus and enterprise growth priorities
Drive Demand Growth & Pipeline Quality
- Oversee enterprise demand generation programs including ABM, lifecycle marketing, strategic partnerships, and targeted events
- Ensure marketing efforts are tightly aligned to sales motions and enterprise buying journeys
- Improve pipeline quality by reaching and resonating with high-value executive decision-makers
Operational Leverage & AI Integration
- Lead the adoption of AI-driven workflows that meaningfully improve speed, insight, and productivity
- Apply AI where it drives measurable revenue impact, customer experience improvements, or cost efficiency
- Establish guardrails to protect brand integrity and message consistency as AI scales
Lead as a Player–Coach
- Personally drive high-impact initiatives and strategic programs
- Coach and develop a small, high-performing team
- Build scalable systems, accountability, and clarity in a lean environment
- Foster a culture of ownership, focus, and measurable outcomes
What Success Looks Like
- Measurable growth in qualified ICP pipeline aligned to enterprise ARR goals
- Clear, differentiated positioning that resonates with executive-level buyers
- Improved pipeline velocity and conversion in partnership with Sales
- Strong cross-functional alignment across Product, Sales, RevOps, and Leadership
- Demonstrated operational leverage through disciplined execution and AI adoption
- Credible, data-driven communication of marketing impact at the executive and Board level
Who You Are
- 8–12+ years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing, including demonstrated experience marketing data products, analytics platforms, or intelligence tools, ideally supporting:
- 3–6+ month sales cycles
- ACVs of $25K+
- Close partnership with RevOps, Sales, and Product
- ● Strong understanding of how to position complex datasets and technical capabilities for executive and enterprise buyers
- ● Experience within ecommerce, retail technology, marketplace platforms, or Amazon-focused ecosystems strongly preferred
- ● Experience supporting 3–6+ month sales cycles and ACVs of $25K+
