Brand Strategy Planner (AI Platform)

We’re hiring a Strategic Planner to sit out of our client’s office and become the strategic bridge between their brand team and our AI-powered creative engine.
This is a strategy role for someone who deeply respects the fundamentals of brand building, storytelling, consumer insight, and creative effectiveness — but is excited to apply them in a radically new way of working.
At Juice AI, we’re building a vertical AI company for advertising: a Creative Performance OS where strategists, marketers, and creative teams can move from insight to idea to high-performing ads with far greater speed, depth, and scale.
The role is not about replacing strategy with AI. It is about using AI as leverage: to sharpen briefs, explore more creative territories, decode consumer and category signals faster, and help brands make better creative decisions.
We’re looking for someone who can bring classic planning judgment into a modern AI-native workflow.
What You’ll Do
1. Bring Strategic Fundamentals into an AI-Native System
You will use the timeless foundations of planning: consumer insight, brand truth, category understanding, cultural context, storytelling, and creative judgment.
But you will apply them inside a new operating model where AI helps accelerate research, generate strategic territories, pressure-test messaging, create campaign pathways, and scale creative exploration.
Your role is to make sure the intelligence remains human, sharp, and strategically sound.
2. Sit Close to the Client’s Business
You will work from the client’s office and become deeply embedded in their brand, category, consumer, business priorities, internal conversations, and marketing calendar.
You will understand what the client is trying to achieve, what is blocking growth, what the market is doing, and where the real creative opportunity lies.
3. Translate Business Problems into Powerful Briefs
You will convert loose asks, business challenges, campaign requirements, stakeholder inputs, and data signals into clear strategic briefs.
Each brief should have a sharp objective, a defined audience, a useful consumer tension, a compelling insight, a strong key message, and creative direction that can inspire both humans and AI-assisted creative systems.
4. Shape the Flow from Insight to Creative Output
You will work across the full journey: insight, strategy, big idea, campaign pillars, channel plans, and ad concepts.
You will help guide how AI is used to explore possibilities, but you will also bring the human judgment needed to decide what is meaningful, ownable, differentiated, and commercially useful.
5. Be the Strategy Partner in the Room
You will participate in client meetings, reviews, planning discussions, campaign conversations, and brand workstreams.
You should be comfortable asking sharp questions, challenging assumptions respectfully, clarifying ambiguity, and helping teams move from “what we want to say” to “what the consumer needs to feel, believe, or do.”
6. Feed and Improve the AI Creative Engine
Because we are a vertical AI company, your strategic inputs will not only influence one campaign; they will help improve how our system thinks about brands, categories, audiences, insights, and creative performance.
You will help turn messy upstream brand thinking into structured, reusable strategic intelligence.
What We’re Looking For
You should have:
- 3–6 years of experience in strategic planning, brand strategy, creative strategy, account planning, marketing strategy, or integrated campaign planning.
- Strong understanding of advertising fundamentals: insight, proposition, narrative, tension, persuasion, brand voice, and creative effectiveness.
- Ability to write sharp, inspiring, actionable creative briefs.
- Comfort working directly with senior client stakeholders.
- Strong curiosity about AI, creative technology, and new ways of building campaigns.
- Ability to use AI tools thoughtfully, not blindly.
- Strong judgment on what makes an idea strategically strong, emotionally resonant, and commercially useful.
- Experience working with creative, digital, performance, or brand teams.
- Ability to operate independently from the client’s office while staying tightly connected to the Juice AI team.
