HVAC Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

JPS Canada is seeking a reliable and motivated Maintenance Technician to perform fan coil system maintenance in high-rise condominiums. Responsibilities include routine preventative maintenance such as cleaning, inspecting, and servicing units to ensure optimal performance and resident comfort.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in occupied residential settings while maintaining professionalism. Technicians will work independently and with a team to complete scheduled work safely and efficiently. JPS Canada also offers strong opportunities for growth within the company. Technicians can advance into service, troubleshooting, and repair roles, as well as gain experience in full system installations. As skills and experience develop, there is clear potential to move into more specialized and higher-level positions.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on in-suite fan coil systems in high-rise condominiums
• Replace filters, clean coils, flush drain lines, and ensure proper functionality
• Identify and document deficiencies or potential issues for follow-up service
• Test HVAC components to ensure proper operation
• Maintain accurate digital service records for each unit
• Communicate professionally with residents and address basic system-related questions
• Follow all company safety protocols and building access procedures

Requirements

• Comfortable using maintenance checklists and working efficiently on-site
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Professional attitude and good communication skills for resident interactions
• Knowledge of HVAC systems an asset but not required
• Valid drivers license
• Access to vehicle an asset but not required
• Ability to get to job sites all over the GTA (mainly downtown)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
