About the Role
We are hiring a Senior Sales Development Representative, Recruiting to help us build the team in New York. This is a recruiting role for a former BDR or SDR who loves cold calling. Most of the job is sourcing candidates, calling them directly, starting conversations, and converting those conversations into interviews.
Responsibilities
- Spend most of your day cold calling candidates and starting conversations
- Source candidates across LinkedIn, referrals, communities, events, and targeted lists
- Build daily call lists and prioritize the highest-fit candidates
- Qualify candidates live on the phone
- Book interviews with strong candidates and keep them moving through the process
- Write short, direct outbound messages that support call follow-up
- Follow up with candidates across phone, email, LinkedIn, and text where appropriate
- Manage candidate pipeline with clean notes, next steps, and follow-up
- Track call activity, connect rates, conversion rates, replies, screens, interviews, and offers
- Partner with hiring managers to understand what great looks like for each role
- Help improve job descriptions, candidate scripts, interview scorecards, and outreach messaging
- Build repeatable recruiting plays for high-volume outbound hiring

- 1+ years of experience as a BDR or SDR required
