DePuy Synthes is recruiting for an Import/Export Ops Specialist, located in Raynham, Massachusetts.

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business to establish a standalone orthopedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.

Job Overview

This role supports DePuy Synthes Supply Chain operations by analyzing data, improving processes, and enabling effective planning and execution across manufacturing, distribution, and commercial teams. The position plays a key role in driving operational efficiency, ensuring product availability, and supporting data‑driven decision making in a regulated, fast‑paced medical device environment. This is an excellent opportunity to make a measurable impact on patient care through strong supply chain performance while gaining exposure to cross‑functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement across planning, inventory, and distribution processes.
  • Support demand and supply planning activities, including forecasts, inventory targets, and performance tracking.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor operational performance and support leadership decision making.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional partners (manufacturing, procurement, logistics, quality, and commercial teams) to resolve supply issues and improve service levels.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Support system data integrity, standard work, and documentation aligned with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare ad hoc analyses and presentations for leadership and project teams as needed.

Qualifications

Education

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree or advanced coursework in Supply Chain Management, Analytics, or Business Administration.

Required

Experience and Skills

  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in supply chain, operations, analytics, or a related business function.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with large datasets.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders.

Preferred

  • Experience in a regulated industry such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and supply chain planning tools.
  • Experience building dashboards or reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actions.

Other

  • Language: English required.
  • Travel: Up to 20% domestic travel, as business needs require.
  • Certifications: APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP) preferred.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$79,000.00 - $127,650.00

Additional Description For Pay Transparency

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

Benefits

Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation –120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year

Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child

Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year

Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days

Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year

Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
