As Manager, Manufacturing Engineering you will lead a dedicated team of Engineers and Technical Designers committed to designing and delivering leading solutions in the industrial braking systems and related sectors.

You Will Be Responsible For

  • Leading a team of innovative engineers and designers to achieve their performance goals, and the company’s objectives
  • Planning and coordinating the development of engineering deliverables to enable the manufacture and delivery of complex systems and components
  • Overseeing the Project Management of significant systems orders to ensure a quality product is delivered on time
  • Priority and work-load management in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborating with in-house manufacturing, as well as suppliers, to resolve manufacturing challenges
  • Leading Industrial Engineering and Continuous Improvement initiatives
  • Providing engineering support to the sales team by reviewing customer requirements and recommending appropriate solutions
  • Contributing to the successful execution of the product deliveries in collaboration with the Logistics team and Operations
  • Design and Development of new products and processes

Qualifications

  • Mechanical Engineering Degree or similar, with a strong preference given to Professional Engineers
  • 5-10 years or more of experience working in an engineering capacity within a heavy manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams to achieve high performance goals
  • Experience with 3D CAD software, SolidWorks preferred
  • Knowledge of electrical and hydraulics systems
  • Demonstrated structured problem-solving skills, and experience with Lean Manufacturing applications
  • Exhibits strong leadership behaviors including teamwork, ownership, innovation and flexibility
