Join our Sibley Nursing Team as a Contract ICU RN!
A new, ultramodern intensive care unit (ICU) opened at Sibley Memorial Hospital on Oct. 4, 2023, on the second floor of the main patient tower. The ICU team specializes in the management of adult and geriatric medical and surgical patients who have or are at high risk for a variety of life-threatening conditions.
Position Details
- Intensive Care Unit: 14-bed unit with capacity to expand to 18 beds
- 13 week contract, 36 hours per week with alternating weekends.
- Must be able to commit to a full 13 weeks.
- 12-hour shifts
Requirements
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the District of Columbia.
- Graduation from an accredited program for Registered Nurses.
- Ability to care for patients requiring Level 1 and Level 2 care/monitoring
- Code Blue and Rapid Response Teams experience
- ACLS/BLS/NIHSS
- At least 2 years of current experience in the acute care setting.

Salary Range: Minimum 60.00/hour - Maximum 60.00/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
