- Implement and maintain internal control systems to safeguard company assets.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
- Coordinate and lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations in India.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management for business decisions.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and accounting standards.
Qualifications required for this role include:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or auditing roles.
- Strong knowledge of international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS) and Indian accounting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills.
