About Role

We are hiring for one of our clients seeking a Senior Facilities Management Specialist to oversee operations within public-private partnership (PPP) projects. This role focuses on ensuring efficient facility performance, regulatory compliance, and long-term asset management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day facility operations and maintenance activities
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and stakeholders
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs
• Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and cost control
• Review contracts and support compliance with project agreements
• Identify and implement operational improvements
• Support energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting
• Participate in project planning and lifecycle management
• Support emergency response activities as required

Qualifications (Required)

• Diploma or degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management or related field
• Experience managing contracts within structured project environments
• Experience in financial planning and budget management
• Must be legally eligible to obtain required government security clearances where applicable

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in public-private partnership (PPP) environments
• Knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and regulatory standards
• Experience with long-term infrastructure or facilities contracts
• Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills
• Professional proficiency in English required; additional language skills are an asset

Working Conditions

• This is an on-site position based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
• Participation in an on-call rotation may be required; details will be discussed during the hiring process
• Work hours and any overtime will comply with applicable labor laws and company policies

Compensation

Annual base salary range: CAD $88,600 – $138,600

Compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and market factors.
