Role Overview

We are hiring Research Scientists across biotech, pharma, genomics, mass spectrometry, neurology, physics, and earth sciences. In this role, you will contribute domain expertise to research and AI training projects. Most work is remote with some biology roles including optional lab partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute experiments in molecular biology, cell biology, or genomics.
• Analyze large-scale genomic, proteomic, or clinical data.
• Contribute to drug discovery, lead optimization, or mechanistic analysis.
• Write scientific reports, protocols, and peer-quality documentation.
• Advise on expert validation for AI and research projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional research and engineering teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• PhD, MD, or equivalent deep domain expertise (or 5+ years industry R&D).
• Strong scientific writing and communication.
• Experience in at least one area: CRISPR, cell culture, cloning, mass spectrometry, sequencing analysis, clinical interpretation, physics modeling, or earth sciences.
• Ability to translate expert knowledge into structured data or evaluations.
• Scientific rigor, reproducibility, and intellectual honesty.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Python, R, or MATLAB for scientific computing.
• Published peer-reviewed research.
• Bilingual (Japanese, Mandarin, or European languages).
• Prior AI or biotech consulting experience.
• Experience with specialized lab equipment or computational tools.
