In this pivotal role, you will lead the development and execution of customer and channel-specific trade strategies aimed at driving profitable growth across the U.S. marketplace. Accountabilities
- Establish best in class 4P principles by channel and align closely with sales teams.
- Manage trade spending and volume allocations in conjunction with the Director of Sales.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver holistic strategies for brand elevation.
- Monitor account-level spending and provide actionable recommendations to enhance ROI.
- Partner with Finance and Accounting on budget planning and compliance.
- Work with brand and RGM on pricing strategy development.
- Implement go-to-market strategies for customer activation.
- Support the execution of Annual Customer Business Plans.
- Oversee customer activations, ensuring effective spend documentation and evaluation.
- Collaborate with various teams to align on strategies and activate success.
- Take accountability for results and communicate customer-level P&L.
- Develop a Joint Business Plan with customers to meet set objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Eight years of experience in consumer packaged goods or related sales experience.
- Three years of mid-level sales or strategy managerial experience preferred.
- Strong self-starter with team-oriented mindset and strong work ethic.
- Adept at creative thinking and problem-solving.
- Entrepreneurial mindset to drive quick assessments and decisions.
- Experience in business plan development exceeding expected goals.
- Proficient in analyzing data and monitoring retail patterns.
- Experienced in P&L management and understanding key line items.
- Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional negotiation and interpersonal skills.
