Lead Project Manager (REMOTE)

This role is crucial in overseeing large utility-scale solar projects across the continental United States, making a substantial impact on renewable energy initiatives. You will support both developers and power companies, engaging in some of the most significant solar projects in the region. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management within the energy sector and will drive effective project delivery while fostering growth opportunities. This position also empowers you to cultivate relationships with various stakeholders and ensure high standards of project quality and safety.

Accountabilities

• Assist in developing project chart of accounts and detailed CPM construction schedule.
• Maintain thorough understanding of the contract and generate project status reports.
• Coordinate buyouts, negotiate subcontracts, and manage purchase orders.
• Monitor project labor for compliance with schedule and budget.
• Establish and lead the on-site Quality Management process.
• Oversee the pay request process and job cost reports.
• Ensure project quality and implement safety programs.
• Train and monitor progress of project labor and staff.
• Review and approve material orders and installation plans.
• Develop and lead project close-out processes.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with $10M+ solar/energy-related projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
• General knowledge of construction principles and practices.
• Experience with subcontracts and subcontractors.
• Proven leadership of successful project teams.
• Ability to travel 100% nationwide.
