Automotive Accounting Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Experienced Automotive Accounting Clerk to join our Accounting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with various accounting tasks. This role requires proficiency in accounting software and strong numerical skills to ensure the integrity of financial data.

Must have at least 1 year of automotive accounting experience!

Responsibilities

• Process and refund extended warranty/finance product cancellations for the dealership.
• Process and reconcile manufacturers statements.
• Process parts deposits.
• Assist with accounts payables.
• Extensive data entry.
• Research and resolve discrepancies.
• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
• Maintain financial records by entering data into accounting software and ensuring all entries are correct.

Requirements

• 1+ year in Automotive Accounting.
• Warranty and product cancellation experience preferred*
• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Strong technical accounting skills, particularly in budgeting and tax processes.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks performed.
• Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
