consultant psychologist cum Behaviour therapist

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed psychological assessments and behavioural evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized behaviour intervention plans (BIPs).
• Deliver therapy using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, ABA, etc.
• Provide counselling and therapeutic support to children, adolescents, and adults with developmental, emotional, or behavioural disorders.
• Monitor client progress and modify intervention plans as needed.

Consultation & Collaboration:

• Collaborate with speech therapists, occupational therapists, special educators, and medical professionals for holistic client care.
• Conduct case discussions and contribute to interdepartmental team meetings.

Family & Caregiver Support:

• Provide guidance and training to parents and caregivers to reinforce therapy goals at home.
• Conduct parent training sessions and behavioural consultation as needed.

Documentation & Compliance:

• Maintain detailed and confidential records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with institutional protocols, ethical guidelines, and legal requirements.

Training & Development:

• Provide training, supervision, or mentoring to junior therapists or interns if required.
• Stay updated with the latest research and clinical practices in psychology and behavioural therapy.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Master’s or Doctorate in Psychology (Clinical, Counseling, or Applied Psychology).
• Certification or training in Behaviour Therapy or Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) preferred.
• Minimum [X] years of clinical experience in psychological assessment and behavioural therapy.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Fluency in [local language(s)] and English preferred.
