Grain Farm Spring / Summer Employment

Job Summary

We are a family operated seed grain producer and processor, located along the east perimeter of Winnipeg, MB in the RM of Springfield.

We are looking for local, energetic, dependable farm hand to join us for the upcoming season.

This is an ideal opportunity for high school, university or college students looking for consistent, full-time work over the spring/summer months with a potential to transition to part time in the fall and work around school schedules.

We are willing to train the right candidate- no extensive farming background required.

Duties

• Physical labor and lifting over 50lbs.
• Operating various yard and farm equipment (training provided).
• Assisting with seed bagging and general farm duties.
• Follow safety protocols during all farming activities to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Valid Class 5 MB driver license.
• Reliable transportation to East Perimeter, no bus route.
• Able to work flexible hours (including days, evenings and weekends during peak times) when needed.
• Comfortable working in a strictly smoke and scent free environment.
