Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end management of fleet operations including deployment, routing, utilization and maintenance scheduling
- Monitor performance, uptime, and fuel efficiency of vehicles/equipment
- Prepare and maintain fleet MIS including cost tracking, repairs, spares and rentals
- Coordinate with project heads for site-level fleet requirements and movement planning
- Vendor management for spares, repair workshops, consumables and rentals
- Ensure compliance with transportation norms, load norms and statutory requirements
- Standardize preventive maintenance and breakdown response protocols
- Optimize fleet lifecycle costs and evaluate replacement strategies
- Implementation of GPS/telemetrics and digital tracking systems wherever applicable
- Build and manage an internal workshop team including mechanics, operators and service technicians
Candidate Profile
- 10–20+ years of relevant experience in fleet, equipment or logistics operations
- Experience must be of handling / managing company owned fleet. (at least 75+ vehicles)
- Experience managing distributed fleet across multiple locations preferred
- Ability to manage large operator workforce (drivers, operators, technicians)
Pay: From ₹90,000.00 per month
