Chief Sub Editor (Education)- Preferred from News/ Media Industry

Key Responsibilities:

• Write informative and up-to-date educational News articles by keeping a close eye on the competition websites and education section of mainstream media websites.
• Work in a fast-paced real-time news/updates coverage team during the Board Results season to ensure timely updates and high-raking blogs.
• Conduct thorough research using official sources and close tracking of competitor websites in the education industry.
• Develop error free, plagiarism free and reader friendly content as per SEO guidelines.
• Work in collaboration with Product, SEO, sales & marketing and other departments to ensure that suitable content is produced for the end user.
• Keep abreast of all new developments in the test prep industry.

Job Specific Knowledge & Skills

• A keen eye for News and ability to conduct quick Internet research to come up with relevant education News ideas.
• Well versed with all ongoing development in the test prep and especially the Indian entrance exams sphere
• Ability to research, write, edit and develop fresh content independently.
• Excellent command over the English language.
• Experience of working in a digital environment/educational content creation company.
