Junior Data Analyst

About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Data Analyst who can work closely with our operations and marketplace teams to turn raw data into structured reports and actionable insights.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to go beyond basic Excel work and gain hands-on experience in automation, APIs, dashboards, and real-world data systems.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Handling & Reporting

• Work with large datasets from all top e-commerce and quick commerce platforms.
• Clean, structure, and validate data for accuracy
• Prepare daily and weekly reports for sales, ads, and operations

2. Excel & Automation

• Build and maintain Excel reports using VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH
• Use Pivot Tables, Filters, and data cleaning techniques
• Assist in improving existing automation workflows (VBA / Google Apps Script / Python)

3. Dashboarding (Power BI)

• Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
• Work with data models and build DAX calculations (basic to advanced)
• Ensure dashboards are accurate, structured, and easy to interpret

4. Marketplace Analytics

• Analyze Amazon Ads performance (Spend, Sales, ACOS, CVR)
• Track product performance and identify trends
• Support decision-making with data-backed insights

5. Operations Support

• Track invoices, payments, and order-level data
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure data accuracy
• Maintain structured datasets for ongoing analysis

Skills Required

• Strong Excel skills (formulas + pivots are non-negotiable)
• Basic experience with Power BI dashboards
• Good logical thinking and comfort working with numbers
• High attention to detail
• Ability to handle repetitive tasks with accuracy
• Knowledge of DAX (basic to advanced)
• Basic knowledge of VBA, Google Apps Script, or Python
• Basic understanding of APIs and how data flows between systems
• Awareness of how automation can improve efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Science, Commerce, or a related field (preferred)
• Candidates with strong practical Excel and data skills will be given preference over academic background
• Freshers with hands-on project experience (Excel / Power BI / basic automation) are encouraged to apply
