Job Description
You will be responsible for planning, designing, organizing, conducting, and evaluating managerial, supervisory, and staff training programs to provide employees with effective training solutions that support strategic initiatives. Your essential duties and responsibilities will include:
- Identifying training needs within the organization and critical skills associated with each functional or workcell managerial position
- Recommending effective training solutions and creating/implementing evaluation tools to measure training effectiveness
- Delivering classroom training and developing/maintaining a core curriculum of supervisory training
- Involving organizational leadership in curriculum facilitation and utilizing adult learning principles to maximize training effectiveness
- Providing coaching and follow-up to all learning events and achieving high satisfaction ratings
- Ensuring compliance with ISO and department procedures, and providing organizational development solutions
- Assessing organizational effectiveness, developing improvement plans, and offering business insight and solutions to individual and team needs
- Supporting team development and creating orientation plans for new employees
- Maintaining Education & Training Matrixs and training records in the Learning Management System with 100% accuracy
- Inputting appropriate data into training records and completing all administrative functions related to training classes
Additionally, you will be involved in program development by setting up and maintaining a leadership development program, formulating learning objectives, selecting/developing instructional methods and materials, and designing handouts and class materials to support training. You will also research and review external training programs, evaluate training solutions, complete training projects within the annual timeline, attend/support staff team meetings, and adhere to all safety and health rules.
