IT Manager (Legal Technology & Operations)

Location: Atlantic City, NJ (Primary) with occasional regional travel

Salary: $95,000 – $120,000 per year (Direct Hire)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (On-call rotation required)

Our client in Atlantic City is seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead daily operations and oversee a robust technical infrastructure. This is a direct hire position offering a competitive salary, of $95,000–$120,000 based on experience. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm. The primary work location is Atlantic City, with occasional travel.This is a hands-on leadership role perfect for a proactive professional who excels at vendor management, system security, and high-level troubleshooting within a professional services environment.

Core Responsibilities

• Systems Administration: Manage and support Active Directory and Windows-based environments to ensure 99.9% uptime and security.
• Legal Tech Oversight: Act as the subject matter expert for critical legal applications including NetDocuments, Time Matters, and SurePoint LMS.
• Security & Access: Administer DUO Authentication and PDK door access systems; manage cellular device fleets and remote access via Citrix.
• Strategic Improvement: Identify and recommend infrastructure upgrades to enhance firm efficiency and client service.
• Vendor Management: Negotiate and manage relationships with software providers and IT service partners.
• Operational Support: Participate in an on-call rotation and travel to satellite offices as needed to maintain hardware and network integrity.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in IT Department Management (Experience in a Law Firm or Professional Services environment is a major plus).
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
• Technical Proficiency: Deep knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and remote access technologies.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills; ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
• Physical Ability: Able to lift/move equipment (20–50 lbs) and sit for extended periods.
