Full Stack Developer (JavaScript / TypeScript / Node.JS)

A Full Stack Developer (JavaScript / TypeScript / Node.JS) is required to join a rapidly scaling fintech business based in New York. This is an opportunity to become a key early engineering hire within a high-growth company building modern financial tooling designed to support and empower small and medium-sized businesses.

This is a full-time onsite position in Manhattan, working closely with product and leadership in a highly collaborative, fast-moving environment.

As a Full Stack Developer, you’ll take ownership of significant product areas, leading technical design and delivery from concept through to production. The role is heavily backend-oriented, with responsibility for building scalable services, designing robust data models, and ensuring production reliability as the platform grows.

You will work primarily with TypeScript / JavaScript and Node.js, contributing to architectural decisions, database schema design, and system scalability. You’ll also help shape engineering standards, tooling, and best practices within a team that values autonomy and accountability.

Requirements

• Strong experience with TypeScript / JavaScript and Node.js (Express or similar)
• Proven ability to design and deliver full-stack features end-to-end
• Deep experience designing and optimising SQL-based data models
• Background working in fast-paced, scaling or early-stage environments
• High ownership mindset with a practical, delivery-focused approach
• Ability to translate business problems into scalable technical solutions

The company is hiring engineers across multiple seniority level, and they are offering $180K – $260K base salary plus equity, comprehensive health coverage including 50% for dependents, paid tech equipment setup, and additional in-office benefits.
