Role Overview:
You will play a critical role as an MEP Lead in the luxurious residential projects, leading the design and integration of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. Your technical expertise, design leadership, and effective communication skills will be essential to ensure compliance with regulations while enhancing the overall architectural vision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct the development and design of MEP systems, ensuring alignment with project specifications and industry standards.
- Facilitate seamless collaboration with architects, structural engineers, and stakeholders to achieve a cohesive building design.
- Offer specialized knowledge in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems to guide the project team.
- Conduct thorough reviews and approvals of MEP drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee project budgets and schedules related to MEP design and implementation, monitoring financial performance and timely delivery.
- Proactively identify and resolve potential design conflicts and compliance risks to maintain project timelines.
- Mentor and supervise junior engineers and drafters, fostering an environment of growth through technical guidance.
- Engage with clients, team members, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, conveying complex technical information effectively.
- Leverage Building Information Modeling (BIM) technologies for enhanced design accuracy and coordination efforts.
- Ensure all MEP designs meet legal, regulatory, and safety standards, aligning with industry best practices.
Qualification Required:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated extensive experience of 10+ years in MEP systems design and project management, preferably in high-end residential or hospitality sectors.
