Key Responsibilities:
- Support cable pulls by staging reels/boxes, setting up pull paths, and maintaining safe material handling and housekeeping.
- Perform supervised simple tasks: Velcro management, basic dressing, moving materials, and installing cable management hardware.
- Apply pre-printed labels and assist with verification under direction; keep track of completed work areas.
- Learn and follow site safety rules, PPE requirements, and escalation procedures for hazards or defects.
- Support shift handoffs by organizing work areas and returning tools/materials to designated locations.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Ability to follow instructions precisely and work safely in a construction/data center environment.
- Strong reliability, punctuality, and teamwork; willingness to learn cabling standards and best practices.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand tools under supervision.
- Attention to detail for identifying cable types, endpoints, and label placement.
Certifications / Training Preferred: OSHA 10 (or local equivalent) and basic low-voltage training.
