Iris's client, one of the world's largest multinational investment banking and financial services corporation is looking to hire an MEAN Stack Developer Our direct client is a is a world-leading financial services company, provides consumers, corporations, governments and institutions with a broad range of financial services and products.
Title: MEAN Stack Developer
Location: Calgary, AB (Hybrid)
Duration: 24+ Months
Note: 4 Days/week hybrid.
The Role:
- We are looking for a seasoned Senior Full Stack Developer to lead the design and implementation of high-performance, distributed cloud applications. You’ll be a key player in our engineering team, bridging the gap between robust backend services and dynamic user interfaces. Whether your core strength is the MEAN stack or Java with heavy NoSQL experience, you’ll be building scalable systems that handle complex data at speed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 7+ years of professional software development experience.
- Core Stack: Expert-level proficiency in the MEAN Stack.
- Hybrid Skills: Strong experience with Java Full Stack (Spring/Spring Boot) or a solid background in Java-based systems with heavy MongoDB integration.
- Distributed Systems: Proven track record of building and scaling distributed cloud applications.
- DevOps Mindset: Practical experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and the modern SDLC.
