Our client, a Major Financial/Capital Markets Bank in Downtown Toronto, ON is currently looking for Sr Data Scientist with ML to join their team. Its Long term contract to hire opportunity.

Job Title: Sr Data Scientist with ML

Location: Toronto ON (3 days hybrid/week).

Major skills: Data Science, ML, ML Models, Python, SQL, AWS, GEN AI, LLM, MLOPS

Responsibilities

• 5+ years of experience in Data Science and Machine Learning.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, SQL, and ML frameworks
• Experience building, training, validating, and deploying machine learning models in production environments.
• Strong understanding of statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and data mining techniques.
• Experience working with AWS
• Ability to work with large structured and unstructured datasets.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, or NLP solutions.
• Exposure to MLOps, model monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in banking, financial services, or regulated industries.
