Job Overview – Private Equity Associate
Compensation: $130,000 – $150,000/year + bonus
Location: Montgomery County, PA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Atlantic Group is hiring a Private Equity Associate for our client in Montgomery County, PA. In this hybrid role, you will evaluate acquisition opportunities, conduct financial modeling and due diligence, and prepare materials for Investment Committee review. You’ll collaborate with C-level executives of portfolio companies, assist with market research and valuations, and support LP communications. Ideal for professionals with private equity or investment banking experience who thrive in high-growth environments.
Responsibilities as the Private Equity Associate:
- Transaction Execution: Assist in sourcing, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities across multiple industries and business models.
- Financial Modeling & Due Diligence: Build detailed financial models and perform in-depth diligence to support investment decisions.
- Investment Committee Support: Prepare investment memorandums and present analyses and recommendations to the Investment Committee.
- Portfolio Management: Work with C-level management teams to monitor portfolio company performance and support value creation initiatives.
- Market Research & Support: Conduct industry and competitive research, support valuation and LP communications, and assist with team mentoring and ad-hoc projects.
Qualifications for the Private Equity Associate:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field required.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in investment banking or private equity, with demonstrated deal execution and financial analysis experience.
- Technical Skills: Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills with strong Excel, PowerPoint, and finance/accounting knowledge.
- Skills & Attributes: Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a proactive, team-oriented approach in high-pressure environments.
