Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Finance Functional Consultant to lead and support the implementation, configuration, and optimization of D365 F&O Finance modules. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and end users to deliver high-quality financial solutions aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support end-to-end implementation of Dynamics 365 F&O Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, Budgeting, Cash & Bank, Expense Management).
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into functional designs.
  • Configure D365 F&O Finance modules as per business processes and best practices.
  • Conduct fit-gap analysis and propose solutions, including workarounds or customization requirements.
  • Prepare functional design documents (FDD), test scripts, and user training materials.
  • Support system testing (SIT/UAT), data migration, and go-live activities.
  • Work closely with technical teams for integrations, customizations, and reporting.
  • Provide post-go-live support, issue resolution, and continuous process improvements.
  • Train end users and provide functional knowledge transfer.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O / AX as a Finance Functional Consultant.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Finance modules:
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Fixed Assets (FA)
  • Budgeting, Cash & Bank Management, Expense Management
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Experience in full lifecycle implementations (Requirement gathering to Go-Live & Support).
  • Good knowledge of integrations, data migration, and reporting in D365 F&O.
  • Ability to interact with business users, stakeholders, and technical teams.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Good to Have

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 certification (Finance / F&O).
  • Experience with multi-legal entity, multi-currency, and global implementations.
  • Exposure to Power BI, LCS, or Azure DevOps.
  • Basic understanding of X++ and technical architecture (for coordination with dev teams).
