Job Description
As a da Vinci Clinical Sales Manager at Intuitive, your role is crucial in building and developing the clinical field sales team within your region. Your primary responsibilities include managing and directing the clinical utilization of the da Vinci Surgical System in your installed base. This involves overseeing installations, training, and driving utilization growth within your assigned region, as well as hiring, training, and developing da Vinci Clinical Sales Representatives.
Your essential job duties will include:
- Developing and implementing clinical sales activities to meet and exceed goals set by senior management
- Expanding clinical usage in all existing accounts
- Increasing clinical usage by selling and training new surgeons in all relevant specialties applicable to the da Vinci Surgical System
- Managing the training and education process within the installed base
- Leading the new system installation process
- Prospecting for new system installations and upgrades to the existing base
- Providing the clinical sales team with new product information or updates on existing products
- Collaborating with the training and marketing departments to execute new strategies and programs as directed by senior management
Qualifications Required:
- Minimum bachelors degree or equivalent
- At least 10+ years of sales experience, including 5 or more years in medical device sales
- Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a sales force in the medical device industry
- Strong background in clinical sales
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel up to 50% as required by account distribution
- Proficiency in implementing sales process platforms and delivering presentations
- Knowledge of the Operating Room environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Success in introducing new technologies to the market is a plus
- Fluency in English and local language is preferred
