Overview

Interface Network I.T Inc. is a rapidly growing structured cabling and security-installation company serving commercial, retail, long-term-care, and industrial facilities across Ontario. We specialize in structured cabling, CCTV, alarm systems, access control, nurse call, and full low-voltage integration.

We are hiring an experienced Cabling Technician / Security Installer with hands-on cabling and device installation experience.

Responsibilities

• Pull, install, label, and terminate Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6A cabling
• Install jacks, keystones, faceplates, patch panels, racks, and related hardware
• Install and mount CCTV cameras, NVRs, alarm devices, sensors, access control devices, etc.
• Follow cable routes, floor maps, and instructions from lead technicians
• Assist with troubleshooting and testing structured cabling and security devices
• Maintain clean and safe work practices on every job site
• Use ladders, power tools, and hand tools as required
• Complete assigned tasks on schedule and communicate progress to supervisors
• Represent the company professionally at all times

Qualifications

• Working at Heights certification (required)
• Previous structured cabling experience (required)
• Previous device installation experience (CCTV, alarm, access control, etc.) (required)
• Valid G driver’s licence with reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders or elevated areas
• Comfortable with physical labour, heights, and commercial environments
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Able to work independently or as part of a team
• WHMIS certification (asset but not mandatory)

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $20.00 per hour
