Overview

We are seeking a skilled Reach Operator / Order Picker and Counter Balance Forklift Driver to join our dynamic warehouse team. This role is essential for efficient inventory management, order fulfillment, and maintaining smooth warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have experience operating clamp trucks and forklifts, along with a solid understanding of warehouse distribution processes. Duties

• Safely operate reach trucks, counterbalance forklifts, and clamp trucks to move, lift, and organize inventory within the warehouse.
• Perform accurate order picking using warehouse management systems (WMS) to fulfill customer orders efficiently.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and ensure proper maintenance to prevent downtime.
• Assist with loading and unloading shipments, ensuring proper stacking and storage of goods.
• Utilize basic math skills to verify quantities and measurements during order picking and inventory counts.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse layout and improve overall workflow.
• Assist in stock replenishment and inventory audits as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating reach trucks, counterbalance forklifts, and clamp trucks in a warehouse setting.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse distribution processes and inventory management systems.
• Experience with order picker operations and order picking procedures.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently, often handling loads over 50 pounds.
• Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and verifying order accuracy.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Prior experience in warehouse management or distribution centers is desirable but not mandatory. This position plays a vital role in ensuring timely delivery of products while maintaining safety standards across the facility. Pay: $21.00-$22.00 per hour
