Role Overview

United Parks & Resorts is hiring a Front-End Engineer to build modern Web experiences using React, powered extensively by Sitecore CMS. You'll deliver fast, accessible, mobile-first UI that is authorable, resilient to real-world content variation, and built with strong automated test coverage.

This position is eligible for Remote Work.

Key Responsibilities

• Build React UI components integrated with Sitecore CMS (authorable, reusable, resilient)
• Implement mobile-first responsive UI and ensure strong accessibility (WCAG-minded)
• Optimize performance and stability (Core Web Vitals: LCP/CLS/INP)
• Integrate with APIs and handle loading/error/empty states cleanly
• Support controlled rollouts and A/B testing / experimentation in a clean, performance-safe way (Optimizely experience is a plus)
• Own quality end-to-end through automated testing and the right level of code coverage
• Use modern AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve productivity, code quality, and developer velocity

Qualifications

• 4+ years building production Web apps with React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS
• Solid experience working with Sitecore, Contentful, or other headless/hybrid CMS
• Mobile-first mindset: Touch-friendly UI patterns, responsive images, performance on slower devices/networks
• Expertise in unit and integration testing using Jest, React Testing Library, Cucumber, or other testing frameworks/libraries
• Experience building customer-facing E-Commerce journeys such as product discovery/browse, search, product detail pages, cart and checkout flows, promotions/discounts, and conversion-focused UX
• Understanding of CDN/edge delivery behavior (caching/performance impact on UI delivery)
• Experience with cloud native development using Azure, AWS, or GCP
